| so i was reading the front page of a webcomic i keep up with and got tuned in to thespeedgamers.com and thought it was really awesome. Its a group of people who steam marathons of video games while raising money for charities. They get nothing out of it, actually they lose money setting it all up, equipment, games, lodging, food, and not being at work.
I just thought it was a really unique mode of philanthropy and more interesting than most, especially to us gamers. They're currently doing the Final Fantasy series if you guys get bored and want to check it out.

| lawl, Phil(and Hat) did 11 spoons of it. And then a little later some other guy took 4 more, 1 spoon every time someone donated $100. Last I heard they were going to make a peanut butter and jelly and vegemite sandwich. | |

| thats about where i was watching phil.
now they're doing this Horde vs Alliance to see who donates more rofl. they're gonna tally up how many people leave a comment for one side or the other with their donation. the stuff they run while doing their marathon is pretty entertaining I must say.

| About time. He was playing it at 7:30 am my time when I went to bed yesterday, then tonight at like 10:30 when I last checked he was still wiping to the last boss. I felt bad for the guy having no sleep for some ridiculous amount of time. | |
